Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, aka THD Ascorbate, is an ultra-stable advanced form of Vitamin C. Clinically proven to reduce excess melanin production (hyperpigmentation) at 0.1%, we use this superstar Vitamin C at 5% to fade dark spots and bring you glowing skin! THD Ascorbate has also been proven to increase collagen synthesis twice as much as ascorbic acid. Increased collagen production leads to more youthful, renewed skin.
Himalayan Seaberry Oil comes from an Indian superberry known as the “holy fruit of the Himalayas”. Used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries, this deeply moisturizing oil is packed with omega-7 and omega-6 fatty acids which help rejuvenate the skin. The linoleic acid in this berry’s oil fortifies the skin’s lipid barrier and seals in hydration. This superberry is also an amazing anti-aging ingredient because of its antioxidants, micronutrients, and vitamins. We are proud to source our oil from a women’s collective in the Himalayas.
Kalahari Melon Seed Oil is a wild watermelon oil that is rich in antioxidants to protect the skin and reduce the look of wrinkles. The omega-9 fatty acids found in this oil stimulate skin cell growth and will give your skin a beautiful renewed glow.
Argan Oil is a lightweight, luxurious oil that prevents transepidermal water loss. By sealing in moisture and healing the skin’s outermost barrier, this nutrient-rich oil keeps your skin healthy and soft.
Jasmine is considered therapeutic in India for its intoxicating scent and healing qualities. It contains antibacterial properties to help soothe blemishes and inflammation. We also included this beautiful flower’s extract for its scent, used at only 1% of the formula. I bought the Himalayan Halo Brightening Oil a few weeks ago; I was running out of my Vitamin C serum (was previously exploring various oils including the Olehenriksen Truth Serum) when I came across Zaila Skin and decided to give this oil a try! It is definitely a little thicker, but I've noticed great improvement in my skin including increased brightness and significant disappearance of my scars! It also gives my skin a dewy look which is perfect for summer! I have recommended this to my friends and will continue to be using this product in the morning (followed by moisturizer and SPF) and night (I use my face wash and toner prior to using the oil); the oil is so hydrating that I often don't need product after use during my night time routine! Highly recommend for anyone considering buying this product!

This product is the best oil I’ve ever applied to my skin. I love all of the Zaila skin products but if I had to only pick one it would be this one! I have dry skin and constantly need to apply moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated, but if I use this oil in the morning then my skin stays hydrated and glowy throughout the entire day without having to apply moisturizer again through out the day. This oil is also perfect as a primer/base prior to applying make up. My make up goes on flawlessly and it gives such a nice dewy finished look. I have received numerous compliments on how glowy my skin looks and been asked what I’ve been using. I have noticed my acne marks are fading and I experience less break outs after using Zaila products. My skin looks better than it has in years all thanks to Zaila skin care products!
